Soothe itchy, irritated skin. Can be used on minor abrasions.
This salve was made by infusing organic calendula, chamomile and lavender into olive oil before being whipped into organic melted beeswax, grassfed and finished tallow, organic lavender eo, organic German chamomile eo, organic frankincense eo, geranium eo, organic lemongrass eo, organic atlas cedarwood eo.
This was one of three salves I created for a grey horse with benign melanoma that was causing him to be super itchy. He would rub his bum on the stall creating abrasions on his tail which would then create a happy home for flies. (You can use your imagination for the issues that created.) I made a salve that could be placed on that itchy sensitive skin around the open areas which would soothe the itch and keep the flys away.
